Las Coloradas is a shallow and high salinity lagoon, it is not recommended to swim in it as you could dehydrate very quickly. Thanks to the amount of sodium chloride contained in the pink waters of Las Coloradas, it is the only salt mine in Mexico that produces Flor de Sal.
